About

I’m a city-girl-turned-country.  I LOVE the color pink.

I live in the Middle of Nowheres on the dusty plains of West Texas on 160 acres of freedom.  I can walk to my Suburban naked if I want to.  Not that I would.

I am married to Big Daddy.  A strong, funny, handsome stud-muffin who keeps me laughing.

I am a Glamour-Girl-of-the-Highest-Degree and now a Mother of Two Boys.  I’ll speak with the Lord about this one day.  Not that I would change it, just wanna know the why’s of this turn of fate.

Around here, we call them there kiddos Numero Uno and Pork Chop OR The Killer B’s.  Stick around long enough and you’ll  know why.

I am a Christian.  I share my day-to-day journey and how Jesus has redeemed me.

I am wild about college football and as a graduate, tend to be a rabid supporter of the Texas Tech Red Raiders!  Guns Up!  I also attended Auburn University so I might inadvertantly scream “WAR EAGLE” without warning.

I LOVE comments!  Please come and comment often.  My self-esteem is tied up in the comments and as you can tell, things could get better.  Comment if only for me and my healthy self view. :>)

I love to read, do bible study, gather with friends, family, and anyone who will sit still long enough to talk, blog, go junking, shop in general, and just about anything that involves talking or eating.

I adore that you are reading my blog.  You are a sweet, sweet soul.

    Sassy Gal:

    I haven’t ever left a comment but today my fingers just took over. I love your blog and find you entertaining and inspirational. Alot of us cowgirl torquoise junkies feel the rebel junk sister in your soul and have similar days. I also think that it is great that you are trying your hand at home school.

    Sassy Gal;

    I am a God fearing Yankee;) In charge of publicity of our local young mothers group (and a mother of 3 small children…6 mo boy, 3 yr old daughter and 6 yr old son, I am tasked with creating a newsletter for our group biweekly. We are having an Esther Day next week (spa day for our moms) and I was searching for some write ups on Esther and ran across your site. We would get along well I can tell! So much in common… God and obviously the agreement that we should look our best (I am a Mary Kay consultant obviously from my website). You know since your favorite color is PINK and you’re from Texas and you take good care of yourself, and you’re Christian, I’m sure you’ve already been approached to hear the Mary Kay opportunity… If not, I’d love to share it all the way from OHIO. But, my main reason for writing is to get your permission to put your write up of Esther in our little newsletter. Go to my website to learn more about how Mary Kay fosters a Christian environment and enriches woman’s lives one at a time. Let me know your thoughts. Thank you so much!!!
