Welcome to my new site on  WordPress.com. I am changing to this service because it allows for some expans-ee-own.  Yeah.  That’s it.  I know we’ll be needing lots more room as we add new features.  I’ll be on that after I steam vac, paint, lesson plan, and eat. 

 

I just have to go and change things.  I love change. Improvement. And, this wordpress is pretty awesome. I can do things like strikeouts!  Awesomeness.

 

Meanwhile, I am so excited.  I am beyond psyched! 

 

As you  know, most of yesterday was spent in either discomfort (albeit mild- our dentist, Dr. Kathleen Nichols, RAWKS), sadness, or spending large amounts of our kids’ college tuition on dental care.  Whoa.

 

So, when we headed to the mall in The Big City, needless to say I was in search of some refreshing.  We ate at our regular Texas Roadhouse….met a sweet friend of mine who is heading for a 2 week trip to Australia, got Big Daddy a haircut, went to Hobby Lobby (twice!  No, Big Daddy wasn’t thrilled), and got Big Daddy and Pork Chop some Crocs.  Check ‘em out!!  SoOoOo cute!

Now, I’m not a fan of “character” shoes or clothes, but these were so cute on his fat little feet.  I couldn’t resist.  And they don’t scream, “Plastic Character Shoes from WalMart”.  No offense if you’re into that.  I still love you.  My kids are way into that, but their Sassy Mama isn’t .  Poor kids.

 

Ok, back to the whole reason for this post.  My tangential thinking sometimes gets the best of me.

 

We went into Bath and Body Works (BBW) for a gift for my mother-in-law.  She really likes the Midnight Pomegranate, I think.  Her whole vanity is covered in it.  So, I am assuming.  Anywhos, they are having a HUGE blowout sale at BBW.  Buy 1, Get one 50% off, $6 shower gels, 50% off American Girl, etc.

 

So, when you spend $30 or more, you get a Eau de Toilette (EDT) FREE.  Oh, darn.  My heart is broken from giving my firstborn over to Southwest Airlines.  My pocketbook is close to empty from the dentist’s office.  Big Daddy and Pork Chop each got a new pair of shoes.  

 

Oh, alright, I’ll pick one out for myself. 

So, what did I pick, you’re wondering?  Only my newest, most favorite thing in the world of fragrance.

OH. MY. WORD.  I am SOOOOOO in love with this fragrance.  I have been eyeing some Nina by Nina Ricci and Flowerbomb, but I just can’t bring myself to spend the dough.  I am practicing good stewardship for our homeschooling days.  And, I’m cheap.

So, I tested this totally fab scent and I am so unbelievably giddy!!!

I sniffed my arm the rest of the night.  I am still sniffing my arm.  I can’t get enough.  And, on top of all that, it was FREE.  F-R-E-E.
